BOOK cover designs

Below are covers that I have designed for books ranging in genre of dark romance, sci-fi, fantasy, thriller, etc.

The majority of these covers were designed through freelance work and for authors looking to up the appeal of their book.

When designing book covers I always ask myself two questions:

1. How can I make people judge a book by it’s cover?

2. How can I make them judge it in my favor?

PAUS BRANDING

For this project I was given the task of branding a Swedish subscription box service known as PAUS. The client provides the service of a monthly subscription box in which they mail out new video games to the subscribers.

The client wanted branding that was fun, playful, and unique.

I used illustrator to give the client a unique playful brand suite

For this project I was tasked with creating a primary and secondary logo as well as two main mock ups and a pattern for a garden company known as Bloom & Bud. I used Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator to deliver sophisticated yet playful work.

Puparazzi Branding

For this project I was tasked with creating a main company logo, and secondary logo as well as a brand pattern and two brand mock ups.

The creative brief for this company informed me that the client was a Puppy Photographer and wanted a bold, creative, and firm logo with a colorful pattern and mock ups.

I used Abode Photoshop and Illustrator to complete this project

THE HAPPY DRINK.

For this project i was assigned to make a poster for Coke.

I wanted to go retro for this ad so I kept it sleek and subtle. The biggest pull comes from the confetti, having a calm background and fun center graphic brings home the message I wanted to implore.

Coke is the happy drink, and you’ll open the cap to a bottle of fun.

DRUNK ELEPHANT ADS

For this project I was tasked with creating two social media ads and one poster for the brand Drunk Elephant

After studying their website and color palette I used my skills in Adobe Illustrator to create two Instagram ads and one wall poster.

I kept the pull on the products themselves in the Instagram ads for a quick attention grab.

For the poster a sleek modern graphic was used to pull the audience in.
